Clan History

“A clan should be more than a collection of fine players.  It should be a cadre of fine friends.  This is the beginning of a revolutionary clan.”

In the summer of 2006, Mr. Pink met a Crazed Weasel, and together they had a dream about what a clan could be….

The thought of being in an average sort of clan, full of infighting, constant boasting and bad manners was unappealing.  They had seen the mistakes that other clans, in other games, had made in the past, and they wanted something different…  A clan of mature adults, where people behaved in a civilized fashion; where there was no ruling player or council and everyone had an equal voice; where everyone shared a common ideal about how the game should be played, and only like- minded people were recruited; where the best snipers in the game could come together as friends.

The clan would promote the idea that Sniper Elite could be played with skill, style, and cunning; not devoted slavishly to any one notion, but not without scruple in the pursuit of victory.  Realistic but principled combat would be stressed, enhancing the playing experience for all.

Recruiting would be kept deliberately slow; only the finest snipers would be considered, but their attitude and ideals would be even more important, people who would put teamwork over their individual achievement. Getting in would be difficult, but once in, no one would ever want to leave.

What started with a few founding members has prospered and grown, and their reputation is still growing…
